We don't know how anybody could hate Frozen. What's not to love? The songs that have encouraged so many little girls to actually sing through keyholes, its magical winter wonderland setting, the warm Disney feeling it gives us inside, the fact that people now actually want to dress like Elsa on their wedding day. SO MUCH TO LOVE.

But not according to Big Bang Theory's Mayim Bialik, who wrote a blog post for Jewish parenting site, Kveller, explaining her distaste for the latest Disney revolution, entitled 'Why My Sons and I Hate the Movie Frozen'.

But delving a little deeper, she does give some context to her seemingly uncalled-for hatred. Mainly, she's unimpressed that the story follows the out-dated fairytale format of female protagonist searching for her hero.

Mayim comments that the film can't be empowering to young girls or women because A) Anna initially falls for a Prince who "is a jerk and should not have been trusted," and B) the female characters have "Barbie doll proportions of their bodies in general: tiny waists, ample busts, and huge heads."

She goes on to question herself, writing, "am I taking this all too seriously? Of course I am! That's because I'm me!"
