In news that will probably make you want to punch the internet, Emma Watson has become the latest celebrity affected by the seemingly never-ending nude photos scandal, which has seen a growing list of female celebrities have their personal and intimate photos leaked online.

As if the continuous violation of privacy wasn't disgusting enough, this time it's thought that Emma has been specifically targeted by hackers in retaliation for the awesome and brilliant feminism speech she gave earlier this week at the UN.

Which is of course just SO INFURIATINGLY WRONG and only reinforces the lack of respect for gender equality that she spoke about.

The online predators claim it's now less than four days before her naked pics are put on the internet, after a website has been discovered which displays an image of Emma wiping away a tear, next to a digital countdown, in a gross attempt to humiliate her.

The words 'Never forget, the biggest to come thus far' are reportedly also written in capital letters along the bottom of the screen. It's all very Matrix-y and shit and ridiculous.

Although the countdown doesn't specifically state that it is leading up to her nude photos leak, the site is believed to have been made by members of the 4chan forum, where images of the other hacked celebrities have originally appeared, including Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton, Rihanna, Vanessa Hudgens, and tons more.

Emma's positive and inspiring attitude towards female issues has been particularly prominent recently, as she came to the defence of her pal J-Law earlier this month, after dozens of her personal photographs were shared online.

Just this past weekend, she also gave her first speech as UN Women Goodwill Ambassador to launch their HeForShe campaign, where she openly and proudly spoke about her 'uncomplicated' feminist beliefs, and urged men to see that gender equality is something that affects them too.

Clearly this great display of feminine strength and intelligence didn't go down too well with the faceless cowards behind the hacking. Sigh.

So awful for Emma, but what do you think about this latest development in the hacking scandal? Let us know in the comments below, or tweet us @CosmopolitanUK.
